Save the tracks in a structured archive

Do you often receive and send audio messages as part of your daily job? Are you used to record voice notes rather than writing down your ideas, commitments or deadlines?
Then you surely know how important it is to save and manage all this information with efficiency, speed, and simplicity, and 2REC allows you to do it better than any other app on the market.
Just a tap to save in the Archive any track you wish, previously imported from an app or recorded on the go, and, at any time, you can add or modify the information associated with it.

Convert audio tracks to text

With 2REC, you can transcribe your voice messages into text in over 50 languages and with no duration limits. Fantastic, isn’t it? It is very useful when you are unable to listen to them, for instance, when you’re in a public place or at work.
And if the message contains important information, it can be easily identified and isolated in the written note. 2REC allows you to edit the text, which can be stored along with the track or copied to any other messaging application, notes or mail.
Performing the conversion is simple and immediate: just click on the icon on the Homepage, and you will get the transcription.

Edit tracks with the Multi-Function Editor

Through the Editor of 2REC, you can modify any content in an extremely practical way. We have developed the platform in such a way that gives you maximum freedom of action. You can scroll through the duration of the track, insert new effects or audio clips, and duplicate or delete the selected recording part.
To activate it, just tap on the track on the Homepage.

Match all the information you want to the audio tracks

With 2REC, you can save a voice message by assigning it various useful information such as title, images, tags, text notes, and reminders.
This allows you to get an even deeper usability out of the tracks. You can combine up to 99 images, you can comment on them with a note, activate a reminder to remind you to listen to them or even tag them with tags in order to create separate categories. And in addition to this, all the information entered also become keywords through which you can search and filter content.
To associate the information, just access the Track Info from the homepage and fill in the dedicated fields.

Take advantage of the Reminders in order not to miss any notes

You can associate a reminder to each track. At the date and time you set a notification, it will remind you to listen to it, so you will not forget the notes you have saved, whether it be the shopping list or important work deliveries.
Activating a reminder is quick and easy. Just access the Track Info, select the date and time, save it in the Archive, and it's done!

Listen to the saved audio, all thanks to the multitrack player

We have developed an audio player to be used directly inside the Archive. Through the search or selection function, you can choose multiple tracks for multiple instances by creating temporary playlists. For example, you can listen, in sequence, to all the lessons of a certain course or all the messages sent or received by a particular person.

Import audio files from all of your apps

2REC works with any kind of audio formats, allowing you to import content received via messaging applications or those already present on your device.
In this way you can manage them more easily and effectively: you can listen to them, modify them, keep them in the internal archive, but above all, you can use them to create new tracks, transforming them into sounds and bases.

Import Option: simplify and speed up the import process

Importing audio tracks from other applications is facilitated and speeded up by the Import Option, which allows you to choose, in advance, the action you want with the content when importing into 2REC, such as saving in the Archive or converting to text. Thus, reducing the number of taps needed to access the function.

Share the title of your audio tracks

When you share a recording with 2REC, you can send the title that you assigned to your track at the same time. You can use it to communicate the importance of the voice message to the recipient of the content, without having him or her to listen to the clip.
This feature is optional and can be activated or deactivated from the Settings page reachable from the Menu.

Upload content and backup to your own cloud service

By registering with 2REC, you can upload contents and create a backup of all the files by saving them to your cloud. The service is currently available for most of the widespread providers, such as Box, Dropbox, Google Drive, iCloud, Microsoft One Drive, and pCloud.
You can create a backup whenever you want. From the Settings page, select Backup, choose the service you want to use, log in, and you’ll be ready to perform the upload.

Enable the widget to have 2REC at your fingertip

The integration with the operating systems, namely iOS and Android, is done with incredible optimization. We have, in fact, developed and made available, with the free version, a widget that allows quick access to the main functions of the application.

Create unique and exciting voice messages

2REC allows you to record voice messages by adding funny sound effects such as sounds, background bases, and filters that change the voice.
The effects are contained in a practical keyboard, remarkably similar to those that you use every day to enrich your text messages with emoji.
Find funny sounds that come directly from the world of cartoons or perfect expressions to express not only just your joy and wonder but also your disappointment. You’ll find something for every situation. Is your girlfriend far away? Let her hear that your heart is beating only for her. Did your friend crack a dumb joke? The braying of a donkey is the perfect answer! You can also record audio with one of the bases as a background that we have created for you. You’ll find dozens of them ranging from romantic, adventure, musical or environmental. What else? Have fun with the filters that change the voice, making it sound like that of an ogre or an alien for instance!

Create your own custom sound effects

By downloading the application, you will immediately have over 400 effects already available, but they are just the beginning to vent your creativity!
2REC is indeed a real tool that can create, in an easy and fast way, personalized content, ready to be used the way you wish for. For example, you can record a comedian's joke as a sound or perhaps the catchphrase used by your group of friends or save your favorite song or the soundtrack of a blockbuster movie as a base.
It's all so simple, and all you have to do is record what you want with the microphone or import a track from an external app and save it as a Sound or a Base. Now you have your very own unique and personal content ready to be shared!

With 2REC, you can also create videos

2REC is capable of generating videos, consisting of audio recording and the image that you have associated to the track as a background. In case you have not inserted any image, your "User Photo" or our funny background will be used.
It's really simple. First, you need to access the Track Info, and from there, you can upload one or more images in succession. Once chosen, from the sharing menu, you will have to select the "Share as video" option and Bob’s your uncle! In a few steps, the video is created and sent.

Quick sharing: send your tracks in an instant

2REC interfaces itself perfectly with all the messaging apps installed on your smartphone. Access the Settings found in the Menu and choose the chat you use the most.
At this point, the icon of the selected app will appear on the Homepage and will allow you to share each audio in a few taps!

Owner format ".2REC"

The created contents can be shared in a specific 2REC format, which allows sending the tracks with all the information associated with it.
The one who receives a “.2REC” file, if in possession of the application, can see, save, and modify every part of the received voice message, for example, by adding new effects or canceling existing ones or updating the information associated to the track.
Does the message you received contain new effects that you like? With a few simple steps, you can save them in your personalized content library, and they will be immediately ready to be used!
Sharing in “.2REC” format is actually pretty simple. Just use the special command represented by the app's logo on the Homepage.

Personalize your ringtone or smartphone notifications

With 2REC, even a notification or a call can become a fun-filled moment. Every created content can be easily set as a ringtone or device notification.
For example, as a notification of your street basketball squad chatbox, you can set the fans' exultation, or perhaps, you might even save the recording of a romantic song as a ringtone for your girlfriend's calls.

Choose the effect quickly, thanks to the preview function

We have uploaded hundreds of content so that there is always something perfect for every occasion. You only have to select it by clicking on its thumbnail.
To make your choice more accessible, we have decided to develop a preview function. By performing a long tap on an effect icon, in addition to listening to it, a comic text bubble will appear with the name of the content, all without inserting it into the recording.

Personalize your content with the user photo

From the Settings, which you can find in the Menu, you can add a image you prefer, whether it's your drawing, your avatar or simply your photo. It will be associated with all the effects created within the app.
It will be, in fact, the thumbnail that will represent the personalized content in the keyboard or the background image for the tracks that you choose to share as a video. But remember! For every sound, every base, and every track, you can associate a specific image at any time.

iMessage Stickers

All the emojis that represent the Filters, the Bases and the Sounds in the keyboard have been designed exclusively for 2REC by our creative team. We have selected the most original and fun and we have transformed them into bright stickers!
Share them through the iMessage extension we've specially created!
